Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Dextol Inc (“Dextol”, “we”). They apply whenever you use Field by Dextol (“Field”), whether you are the business that signed up or one of its sales reps. If you use Field on behalf of a business, you agree to these terms for that business too.
1. What Field is
Field is a customer-relationship app for field sales teams. A business (we call it a “tenant”) sets up a team, and its sales reps use the app to record business accounts, visit notes, orders, invoices, and tasks, plan driving routes, and dictate voice notes that AI turns into drafts for review.
2. Accounts and join codes
You sign in with an email and password, or with a Google or Microsoft account. A sales rep joins a tenant's team using a join code provided by their manager.
- Only use a join code that was given to you for a team you actually work with, and only share codes with people who belong on your team.
- Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- A tenant's manager can remove a rep from the team at any time. Tell us at privacy@dextol.ai if you believe an account has been misused.
3. Your CRM data
The tenant owns the CRM data its reps enter: accounts, notes, orders, invoices, tasks, and similar records. Dextol processes that data only to provide the service — storing it, syncing it across the team's devices, planning routes, and generating AI drafts. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.
4. Acceptable use
Use Field lawfully and only for its intended purpose: managing your own team's sales work. In particular, do not:
- enter data you don't have the right to collect or store;
- attempt to access another tenant's data or another user's account;
- probe, disable, or interfere with the service's security or operation;
- upload malicious code, or use the service to send spam or unlawful messages;
- resell the service, scrape it, or copy it to build a competing product.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. AI-drafted content
Some features use AI to turn your voice notes or scans into draft records. Drafts are suggestions, not facts: the AI can mishear, misread, or get details wrong. You must review every AI draft before saving it, and the app always asks you to confirm before a draft is saved. You are responsible for what you choose to save. Dextol is not liable for losses caused by saving an AI draft you did not review or correct.
6. Service availability
Field is an early-stage product. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and without an uptime guarantee. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If a record is critical to your business, keep your own copy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: Dextol is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost business, or lost data arising from your use of Field. Our total liability for all claims related to the service is capped at the greater of the fees the tenant paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. Term and termination
These terms apply for as long as you use Field. You can stop using the service at any time, and a tenant can close its account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if we need to protect the service or other users; where reasonable, we will give notice first. When a tenant's account ends, we will give the tenant a reasonable opportunity to export its CRM data before it is deleted.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will post the new version at this address with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Field after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated terms.
